What is WFME Compliance?
The World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) is the leading international authority that works to enhance the quality of medical education worldwide. WFME develops global standards and promotes the accreditation of medical institutions with the core objective:
“Enhance the quality of medical education worldwide, with promotion of the highest scientific and ethical standards in medical education”.
In a significant global development, the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) has also been granted WFME accreditation, recognizing its alignment with global medical education standards. Since the Issyk-Kul State University MBBS program meets PMDC standards, this creates a strong foundation for our recognition under WFME.
